A day in the life of me..

So I was thinking this morning about my day to day life..

I have one word to describe it:

HECTIC.

Here is a sample of what I do.. on a daily basis:

6 am - Alarm goes off..
6-7:15 - Getting ready for work while trying to hug the baby, husband, dogs, cats and run out the door
7:15 - 8 - Drive to work (sit in traffic)
8 - 5 - Do my best to have a good day at work
5-5:45 - Drive to day care (sit in more traffic)
5:45 - 6 - Pick up Matthew at day care (my favorite part of the day.. he SMILES so huge when he sees me!)
6 - 6:15 - drive home (sit in more traffic)
6:15 - 6:30 - Walk the dogs, who have been trapped in their crates all day and want to run around like lunatics
6:30 - 7:30 - Cook dinner
7:30 - 7:50 - Eat dinner
7:50 - 8:15 - Clean kitchen/pack leftovers from said dinner
8:15 - 8:30 - If Matthew needs a bath.. Anthony does it while I put clean laundry away (which I always seem to have plenty of)
8:30 - 9:00 - Feed Matthew and try to get him to go to sleep
9:00 - 9:30 - Pick up stuff around the house, wash bottles, misc. things to be done
9:30 - 10:00 Try to relax and watch some TV
10:00 - Try to go to bed and get some sleep so I can start everything all over again

Geez.. I'm exhausted even looking at that.

I'm sure if Anthony put up a similar post... his would look ridiculous too.

Ahhh.. the life if two busy parents with full time jobs and no family around.

I think.. considering the circumstances.. we do a pretty good job!


On a side note.. poor Matthew has a yeast infection AND cut two teeth.. all this week. Poor monkey!

On a more positive note.. we are headed to Hawaii for a much needed break in three weeks and couldn't be more excited! Woohooo!
